I think the registrar at my school schedules tests during finals week by how popular a professor is. The most popular professors get the earlier schedules and the ones we don’t like get the horrible late ones — horrible as in test-is-scheduled-til-10pm-but-is-so-hard-that-the-whole-class-stays-for-an-extra-hour-and-a-half-and-willing-to-stay-even-longer-even-though-we’ve-been-in-the-classroom-for-three-hours-already-horrible. yeah, choose your classes wisely!
